The duo Black Coffee and his son Esona, better known by his stage name SONA, is one that has taken the music scene by storm.
At just 26 years old, the rising star that is Esona has taken a page out of his father’s book and ventured into the music industry as an electronic dance DJ.
As seen on their social media pages, the two share a joint love for what they do and can often be spotted sharing the stage together.

Recently, the proud dad took to Instagram sharing just how proud he was about how far his son has come after recently celebrating his 26th birthday.
In true musical fashion, no celebration would be complete without a party, and this was not something that the Drive hitmaker would compromise on.
In his post which contained a gallery of pictures from the last month’s festivities, he revealed that he and his family travelled across 5 cities to kick off the celebrations.
“Top month, celebrated my son’s birthday, flew to San Francisco for 24hrs for two shows then party in Italy with Mc’lovin, briefly saw the boy in Dusseldorf then in and out NYC to party Central Park, spent time with family and friends who are family in Mykonos, Ibiza and everywhere in between. Grateful,” he concluded.
In a video, he later expressed his admiration for the man Esona has grown to become, before adding, “You’ll always be my boy”.
