Citizens react to Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s recent’ concerning’ face card

After previously making headlines for her flawless looks in her court appearances, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s most recent outing has sparked concern,  raising questions regarding her health and well-being.

Once an esteemed medical professional, boasting impressive accolades and accomplishments, including being named to the SADC Top 100 Young Leaders list, Nandipha Magudumana has found herself at the centre of one of South Africa’s most high-profile criminal cases.

In addition to having her medical license revoked by the Health Professions Council of South Africa, Nandipha faces charges of fraud, corruption, violation of a corpse, defeating the ends of justice, and more, per the Law Library. This is thanks to her involvement and role as Bonnie to Thabo Bester’s Clyde, with the pair becoming one of the country’s most notorious criminal couple as the tale of their criminal escapades continues to unravel.

In the fight for her freedom, Nandipha has contested her extradition from Tanzania to South Africa, deeming it unlawful and seeking the nullification of her charges, on top of her release. She has made a few appearances in a few of South Africa’s courts, with the nation paying close attention to the woman who was once an inspiration to young women and girls in the country. Among other talking points, Nandipha’s appearance has been a constant topic on social media, with users not holding back on their opinions towards her, be it positive or negative.

Previously, Nandipha had users gasping in astonishment at her flawless looks, as they questioned how she managed to remain as flawless as she did, within the confines of  Bizzah Makhate Correctional Centre. However, her latest outing at the Bloemfontein High Court has had the public singing a different tune, as they express concern over her well-being.

These users believe that the reality of the gravity of the predicament she has gotten herself into is finally setting in for Nandipha, as they took note of her detached and nonchalant attitude in the beginning.

Furthermore, these users have taken note of the contrasting difference between Nandipha’s appearance, in comparison to her co-accused and lover Thabo Bester, further adding fuel to the break-up rumours circulating. They also highlight how this could be the result of the contrasting treatment each is receiving inside their respective facilities.
