Cassper Nyovest performs unreleased song, receives mixed reviews

With just less than a month to go until the release of his forthcoming album Solomon, Cassper Nyovest performed one of the album’s songs… and not everyone was feeling it.

A video shared by the Twitter account SAHIPHOP showed the Doc Shebeleza rapper, in what appears to be a club, rapping his new song while standing next to Pearl Thusi. The video – which garnered over 90 000 views – received a lot of praise and criticism.

One fan wrote, “I can’t wait for Nyovest to drop this project.”

Another tweeted, “New Nyovest Drill record sounding amazing, I can’t wait for the album.”

“He’s so hot,” said another tweep.

“I am familiar with Pearl’s head bobs as I did quite a few of those when I was supporting my friends’ SoundCloud careers back in college,” wrote one person.

Another person shared a gif to relay how they felt about the music.

While another tweeted, “People that have seen him perform in person, is he actually entertaining to watch and listen to? My judgment just got more clouded by this clip.”
