Television personality and rapper Boitumelo Thulo has recently celebrated her 34th Birthday! While the milestone gives one every reason to be joyful and celebrate, this year the moment was a bittersweet one for the reality star.
In a post shared via her social media account, she confirmed the passing of her grandmother Lelo in a heartfelt post.
Taking to Instagram she wrote:
“My darling Angel Lelo. I don’t have many words right now but I just want to thank you with all of my being for being the greatest example of love, compassion, kindness and selflessness.”
She continued, adding: “I am yet to meet one of your kind and I’m eternally grateful that I got the privilege of experiencing the blessing that you are. Fly high with the angels in Heaven, where you belong.”
Lelo has played a pivotal role in the life of Boity and often appeared in her Own Your Thrown reality show.
Earlier this year, she wished her grandmother a happy birthday highlighting that she was one of her favourite people in the world.

With her birthday coming merely a week following Lelo’s passing, Boity wrote:
“Happy Birthday Boitumelo.
“Bittersweet but an incredibly blessed day nonetheless. Thank you Father God for another year and for being by my side throughout my life. Amen.”
Attached to the post was a picture of a young Boity receiving a gift from her loving grandmother.
