Bianca Naidoo speaks on life without her partner late rapper Riky Rick

Late rapper Rikhado ‘Ricky Rick’ Makhado’s longtime partner Bianca Naidoo sat down with the podcaster Mpoomy Ledwaba on the Wisdom and Wellness show to discuss life since his untimely death.

On a recent episode of the podcast, Bianca shared how she has been since the death of her partner Riky Rick who died in an apparent suicide in 2022. In previous interviews, the rapper had been candid about his mental health journey.

During the interview, Bianca says, “There’s not a day or moment that goes by where I don’t think of him in the things that I am doing, adding that, Something as simple as buying bread is so instilled in you.”

Speaking on her late partner’s mental health issues, Bianca stated that she was aware of his struggles and that when they started dating he just come out of rehabilitation.

“I always gave him the space to deal with whatever he needed to deal with as I knew that he would come back, and there were good times,” she says.

Bianca told Mpoomy that she never expected Riky would take his life given that he had a family but was not angry at the decision he made. She also stated that after the incident she decided to put her children in therapy.

Mpoomy posted the podcast with the caption, “Being okay with being happy and being okay with being sad when I need to be sad. Healing begins with honesty. This week I sit with Bianca as she opens up about her life, finding joy and change.”

Many Instagram users took to the comment section to express their sympathy for Bianca given that Riky contributed to giving platforms to upcoming artists.

One user commented: “The loss of a loved one is impossibly hard having gone through it myself so I hear what she’s saying! Glad she is at a point of experiencing joy again and being okay with that. It’s a long road with no right or wrong way of doing it.”

Another user said: “Bianca, I’m happy to see you doing great.”
