Online users have recently been left scratching their heads following an invitation by which former Miss South Africa Basetsana Khumalo invited several A-listers to her “45th” birthday party.
The confusion came after the mother of three celebrated her 50th birthday just last year. Taking to social media, she shared snippets of the three-day celebration which welcomed several prominent celebrities and other significant people in her life.
Meanwhile, DJ Lamiez Holworthy was among the first to receive an invitation to her “45th birthday party.”
Taking to Instagram, the musician shared a video documenting the delivery of the invitation which was accompanied by a bouquet of flowers.
The invitation read: “I’m inviting you to my 45th birthday celebration. Let’s celebrate life, love, and beauty that only gets better with time.
“Dust off your finest and get ready to shine because timeless beauty is the theme … I couldn’t imagine walking this milestone without you, with love and ageless grace, Basetsana Kumalo.”
Shortly after reading the message, Lamiez found herself in a state of confusion, asking, “Wait, didn’t she turn 50 last year?”

Amused by the mysterious birthday invitation several online users took to the comment section and shared their thoughts.
“Am as confused about the age too,” commented one user.
Another added: “Something so definitely up (laughing emoji).”
Meanwhile, the birthday lady later entered the comments herself and reacted with three hearts.
