Seasoned broadcaster Xolani Gwala‘s memorial and funeral details have been announced. According to a statement from the star’s family, there will be two memorial services. The first service will be held on 6 November at Our Lady of Lourdes Rivonia Catholic Church. The second memorial service will be hosted by 702 on 7 November. The venue is to be confirmed.
The funeral will take place on 9 November in his hometown of Impendle in KwaZulu-Natal.
The family also requested that no flowers be sent to Xolani’s home, instead, donations to be made to the Teddy Bear Foundation in his name. The statement reads in part: “A kind request from the family is for no flowers to be sent to the family home, Xolani’s heartfelt request was that instead of flowers, he would appreciate donations to the Teddy Bear Foundation to be made in his name.”
