The return of Ashes to Ashes

by Boitumelo Mmakou

In just a few weeks, a new season of one of Mzansi’s most loved telenovelas returns to e.tv; more drama, more entertainment.

The first season of Ashes to Ashes ended on a high note, leaving the audience at the edge of their seats following the Namane family’s troubling events. This may be the reason why expectations are high for the next season. The 8pm slot will never be the same again.

The new season promises to deliver a thrilling storyline, and introduce new members to the cast. They include Tina Jaxa who plays Nokulunga Radebe, Nandi Nyembe as Detective Nkonzo’s mother, Ma Nkonzo, as well as the self-proclaimed prince of theatre Atandwa Kani as Buzwe Sihlahla, a lawyer to represent Tsietsi.
