Social media has once again used humour to share some of its funniest reactions to load shedding. This comes after power utility Eskom announced that the country would be experiencing stage 6 of load shedding. From celebs such as Bonang Matheba and Rami Chuene to ordinary South Africans, there have been many jokes going around.

Take a look at social media’s funniest reactions to load shedding.

Stage 6 is when Eskom comes and takes the Jesus out of you. In John 8:12 Jesus says, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Yes, that’s the very same light that’s taken by Stage 6.
