Man Crush Monday – Solomon Sebothoma

by Boitumelo Mmakou

From a small role on Generations to a lead role on Matatiele, we can’t help but fall in love with Sol’s hustle and bustle in the entertainment industry.

Anyone can get into the acting industry if they have the talent for it, but for Solomon it’s talent mashed up with his live performance degree from AFDA. We bring you five reasons you should make him your crush this Monday…

Sol-S-2

THE CUTE GEEK

On Generations, Sol played the techno-whizz, making him one of the best-looking geeks on screen. Although his geek days are over, we wouldn’t mind seeing him play such a role again.

MR CALM

A guy can be any shape, size and height; but if he can’t keep his cool and stay calm in any situation, he isn’t worth the keep. With that said, Sol’s a keeper!

Solomon

THE LEAD GUY

We love watching Matatiele because Sol makes his character Lefa look good, and has made the Sotho traditional attire look dapper. He totally nails the sketch artist look.

SOTHO AND LOVING IT

You have to give him 10 out of 10 for being 100% Sotho. There is something extremely attractive about a Sotho man who has his ducks in a row.

Sol-S

MULTI-TALENTED

Solomon can speak four other South African languages fluently. He is also a great performing musician, which can land him a greater role in future. We also love the idea that he could be a phenomenal screenwriter and film director – because he has the work and academic experience for it.
