Once again soapie lovers will be disappointed to know that Mpumelelo Bhulose has been fired from yet another show. This time it’s from Imbeweu: The seed, in which he co-stars alongside Leleti Khumalo.
Mpumelelo has been accused of failing to attend shoots for almost three weeks.
The actor left Uzalo fans wanting when his character, the notorious gangster Gxabhase was written off the show in 2016.
According to IOL, the actor was sacked from the show for allegedly butting heads with co-workers and producers.
The online news source has reported that Grapevine Productions confirmed through e.tv that Bhulose’s contract has been terminated.
The channel’s spokesperson, Michael Pocock, was quoted as saying the absence of Bhulose’s character, Ngcolosi ‘Zimele’ Bhengu, was written into the storyline some time ago.
“However, the executive producers have since decided to end their relationship with Mr Bhulose.”
