Idris Elba revealed that it was love at first sight when he first met his wife, Sabrina Elba. The couple, who tied the knot in a beautiful Morrocan-themed wedding in April, is gracing the July issue of British Vogue. In it, they open up about their relationship and share intimate pictures from their special day.
In the interview, Idris shared the exact moment he knew Sabrina was the one. The couple met in 2017 at a bar in Vancouver where Idris was filming The Mountain Between Us in the city. The pair locked eyes which Idris says was “love at first sight”. He said in part: “We’ve been literally inseparable since we met. You know, I’m 47 this year, been married and lived a full life before I even met Sabrina,” he continued. “It wasn’t something that I wanted to do, get married again.”
