Tembisa Women Share What Their Face Says About Them

BONA magazine went along to the recent Faces of POND’S mall event at the Birch Acres Mall in Tembisa, Gauteng.

POND’S is celebrating South African women, giving them the opportunity to share what their face says about them. With the aim of showcasing the largest tapestry of South African stories, POND’S is visiting various malls across the country.

At the events, women receive a free skin analysis by the POND’S Beauty Advisors and get the opportunity to have their photo professionally taken and to tell their faces’ stories to enter the competition.

Her face is her story.
Here’s what some of the Tembisa ladies who participated had to say about the day:

“When people look at me I want my face to say I am happy, I want to appear confident and brave.” – Mpaiweni Mathabo

“My face is my life journey.” – Melodia

“I love POND’S products; I am always keen to try anything of theirs because they know how to take care of consumers. When people look at me I want my skin to tell a story of woman that uses a good product.’ – Pensy Malaza

“My face is an aging miracle, I love it when my skin looks younger and full of fun” – Maki
