The 120th annual Vodacom Durban July took place at the Greyville Racecourse this weekend, and we share some of our favourite beauty hits and misses.

1.Thando Thabethe and Somizi Mhlongo

Somizi, our July cover star, and Thando showed us how to perfect eyebrows. We love how Thando worked with minimal make-up and wore a nude lip shade.

2. Boity

Boity rocked her signature pixie haircut to highlight her facial features. She paired the dark hair with a smokey eye and an off-red lip.

3. Nomzamo Mbatha

Actress and face of Neutrogena SA showed us that less is more with make-up. Nomzamo played on the clean face make-up, and finished off with blue eyeliner on the inner rim of her eye.

Matte lipstick is still a great hit this season. Actress Thembi Seete rocked a pastel purple to complement her outfit.

5. Omuhle Gela

Actress Omuhle was our favourite with her ombre lips. She paired them with a touch of metallic eyeshadow.

6. Ntando Duma

Most women use their hair as an accessory to complement and complete their look. Being bold means one has to have prominent make-up, and that is what Nthando did. We love how she played with earth tone shades.
