Style crush: Headpieces and accessories from the Met Gala 2018

by Ayanda Sithole

We’re still crushing on the Met Gala. With the theme being “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, celebrities took this to all kinds of new levels. Not only were the outfits jaw-dropping, their interpretations of crowns left us in awe. We check out whose headdresses stood out against the pack.

Cardi

Cardi B embodied Elizabethan royalty in her over the top and heavily encrusted headpiece. She really is becoming one to watch when it comes to fashion red carpet moments.

Rihanna

We will forever bow down to the wonder that is Rihanna. She was undoubtedly the best dressed of the night. She absolutely slayed the theme from head to toe in a Maison Margiela masterpiece by perfectly combining fashion and catholicism especially through her head piece known as a Bishops Mitre. Rihanna ruled as Queen.

Winnie Harlow

Winnie Harlow was a vision in a dramatic white head piece. She pulled off an angelic silhouette with an edgy twist.
