The 23-year-old Liesl, a BCom graduate from Eldorado Park, says she is determined to make a difference during her reign. While she is doing her best to help and change the country, we will sure keep an eye on her beauty trends and tricks.
Here are our favourite looks thus far:
Box braids
The thick box braid trend made a comeback from the 90s and Liesl rocks it well. For those who are not big on sitting long to do their hair, fewer braids is always better. You can also opt for the six ponytails braids.
Bright lips
We love how she looks fabulous with the matte pink lipstick. Matte colours have taken over and allow you to play with a bright lip, no matter the occasion.
Cat eye
The winged cat eye is a classic beauty trend and Liesl nails the double eye wing. Use your dark liner on the rim of your eyes and along the outside edge under the bottom eye to have an exaggerated cat eye for your night time event.
Dewy
Liesl looks amazing with the dewy skin make-up. Highlight your forehead, bridge of your nose and chin with a bronzer to achieve this look. It’s always best to keep your colours natural, so your face has a natural look.
Hair
Goodbye Pearl Thusi and hello Liesl… We can’t help but be jealous of her healthy, full and thick hair.
Hot body
Looking at Miss SA’s body is enough motivation to get off the couch and start working out. Forget the summer body, this looks like a full year of hotness.
