She wrote “I’m having a “slightly obsessed with my freckles kind of week”, please allow, I hated them for half my little ;ife because I was teased about them but alas, now I’m a proud freckle face so let me be”.
Freckles are unique features that make it hard to apply makeup to enhance their natural beauty and not hide them. People with freckles need to apply sunscreen to not only protect their face but to avoid them multiplying. Choose a sheer foundation or BB cream that will even your skin tone and allow your freckles to be seen. Avoid using colour, shimmer or glitter blush as this will make your skin look overdone. Stick with neutral bronzes to give your cheeks a hint of colour that will leave you with a natural sunkissed look.
Tip
Do not use shades on your eyes that match the colour of your freckles, use a darker colour that will emphasize your eyes and don’t blend them in.
