According to global transfer reporter Ekrem Konur, Premier League sides Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion, alongside La Liga giants Atlético Madrid and Serie A contenders Napoli, are actively monitoring the 21-year-old winger.
Whirlwind transition to European football
Mofokeng completed his move to Union SG on 2 July 2026, for a reported domestic record fee of R65.3 million (€3.5 million), committing to a contract through 2030.

The young attacker made an immediate impact in Belgium.
He debuted on 31 July 2026 in the Belgian Super Cup against Club Brugge, converting a high-pressure penalty in the shootout victory. He subsequently marked his Belgian Pro League debut with a goal against K.V.C. Westerlo on 8 August 2026 and found the net in the UEFA Europa League during a 3-0 group stage win against FC Viktoria Plzeň on 17 September 2026.

International brilliance fuels scouting radar
Mofokeng’s domestic form has been mirrored on the international stage with Bafana Bafana. Deployed both on the wing and in a central playmaking role, he delivered an influential display in a 2-1 win over Guinea before netting a clinical brace during South Africa’s 5-0 AFCON qualifying triumph against Eritrea on 30 September 2026.
While no formal bids have been submitted, scouting personnel from across Europe continue to assess his progression in Brussels ahead of upcoming transfer windows.
