Orlando Pirates have officially expanded their footprint off the pitch with the grand opening of the new Orlando Pirates store, giving supporters a dedicated destination to purchase official club merchandise and celebrate their passion for the Buccaneers.

Orlando Pirates’ flagship store
The opening marks a historic moment for South African football, with Orlando Pirates breaking new ground by launching a fully-fledged retail outlet inside one of the country’s biggest shopping centres.
Unlike most local clubs that rely on third-party retailers or matchday kiosks to sell merchandise, the Buccaneers now have a dedicated retail space alongside leading international fashion and lifestyle brands.
The new store offers a wide range of official products, including the latest playing kits, training apparel, lifestyle clothing, accessories, and exclusive club memorabilia. The opening forms part of the club’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its connection with supporters while enhancing the overall fan experience.

Club officials, partners and supporters gathered for the official launch, marking another milestone for one of South Africa’s most successful football clubs.
Fans attending the opening were treated to a first look at the new retail space, with many taking the opportunity to purchase the latest Orlando Pirates merchandise.
Speaking at the launch, the club highlighted the importance of providing supporters with easier access to authentic Orlando Pirates products while creating a space that reflects the club’s rich history and identity.
Pirates club chairman Dr Irvin Khoza praised the project and acknowledged the role played by his sons, Mpumelelo and Nkosana Khoza, in helping modernise the club’s commercial operations while preserving its rich heritage.
The historic store opening comes just days before the start of the new Betway Premiership campaign, with the reigning champions set to begin the defence of their league title against Milford FC on Saturday.
