In a statement shared on 30 June 2026 via his Instagram account, the gospel singer described the leadership role as “stretching” and “meaningful,” while thanking colleagues, family and friends, and committed listeners for their support.

He showed appreciation to both radio station teams for their trust, commitment, and shared purpose, while writing to presenters, producers, and internal stakeholders:

“Thank you for your patience, honesty, and for buying into the assignment. At times, my way of doing things may have been unconventional, but you continued to show up, and together we were able to build moments that mattered.”

While thanking the Lord, he also dedicated the post to his wife, Jennifer Bala, and his daughters, thanking them for their constant love and support throughout his career.

“You carried me through every high and low, and I could not have done this without you.”

Finally, he addressed Umhlobo Wenene FM and truFM listeners, highlighting their honesty, warmth, and loyalty to the stations. He noted that without them, there would have been no reason for him to continuously show up with his level of commitment.

Loyiso concluded, “As I leave this season, I do so with gratitude. Gratitude for the milestones reached, the lessons learned, the trust shared, and the people who made the journey worthwhile.

“Enkosi kakhulu. I still believe the best is ahead.”
