IVF journey behind the spotlight

In her recent reflections, Marise revealed that her path to motherhood included in vitro fertilisation (IVF), a process she described as both physically demanding and emotionally overwhelming. She shared that the experience came with moments of hope, disappointment, and uncertainty as she navigated fertility struggles away from the public eye.

The emotional highs and lows

Marise spoke about the mental strain that often accompanies fertility treatments, highlighting the pressure couples face during IVF cycles. She described the journey as one filled with anticipation and anxiety, where each stage brings both hope and emotional vulnerability.

Finding strength through family support

Throughout the experience, she credited her support system—particularly her family—for helping her stay grounded. She also reflected on how important emotional support was during difficult phases of treatment, especially when dealing with setbacks.

A message of hope for others

By sharing her story, Marise hopes to encourage others facing similar struggles not to feel alone. Her message has been widely praised for shedding light on fertility challenges that are often kept private, particularly among public figures.

“By far the most personal post I’ve ever shared. But this journey shaped me in more ways than I can explain, and it just feels right sharing it with this community.
Sending so much love to those still waiting, grieving, hoping, and praying,” she penned.
