Recently, there have been reports of her losing her Facebook account, allegedly to hackers. She has also gone on to create a new account, asking people to follow her in an attempt to rebuild her following.

Why creators’ Facebook accounts get suspended

Facebook’s algorithm can be aggressive, and even established creators sometimes get caught in temporary blocks or “Facebook jail” for reasons ranging from spam flags to security checks. Hacking is also a common issue that often results in people losing their accounts.

Temporary suspensions usually last between 24 hours and 30 days, while disabled accounts can take weeks to appeal and recover.

For creators like Makhi who rely on Facebook monetisation as their main source of income,  even a short lockout can disrupt their livelihood.

Makhi’s followers have been quick to share support and concern. Others have also provided tips on how creators can avoid losing access, such as keeping recovery emails updated and avoiding sudden changes to account details.

Some further advised her to stop sharing her income and achievements on social media, as not everyone has good intentions.

Money gone ❗️

Last week she posted her earning of $7 874.09 which is equal to R 129 529 tax free.😩‼️ This month she won’t get paid.

“That is a strong mindset. Losing an account with millions of followers can be discouraging but starting over is part of the creator journey for many people.

What matters most is consistency and rebuilding step by step because audience follows authenticity more than numbers in the long run,” commented another internet user.

“But why do these people always assume that it’s people reporting them? Maybe she broke the rules. People love imaginary haters.” questioned another.

“The fact that she grew the lost one ,then she can make it again,” read another comment.
