His 2015 album Pieces of Me helped push South African house music to new audiences around the world. He later became the first South African DJ to win the Breakthrough DJ of the Year award at the DJ Awards in Ibiza.

He won Best International Act Africa at the BET Awards in 2016, secured a historic residency in Ibiza, and won a Grammy in 2022 for Best Dance or Electronic Album with Subconsciously.
