Internet reacts on Dominic Zaca’s pride outfit

Media personality Dominic Zaca had tongues wagging as he wore Zulu traditional attire at the LGBTQI+ pride march.

Dominic, a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community who is known to stand up for himself against bullies on social media, took to his platforms to share a video of him turning heads at the march.

This clip left the internet in a frenzy, with many sharing their opinions. While some loved the look, others shared that they felt like the media personality was seeking attention after the Ngizwe Mchunu saga.

Dominic shared his video clip with a caption that read “Ya benithini? (Yes, What were you saying?)”

This comes shortly after Ngizwe shared his social media meltdown following a video of gay men tying the knot in Zulu traditional attire. He openly shared that gay men should not wear Zulu traditional attire. He felt strongly that they were disrespecting the Zulu tradition by doing so.

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) ruled that Ngizwe’s comments are prima facie violations of equality law. It ordered him to remove the offensive content, issue a public apology within 24 hours, and stop distributing further discriminatory content—or face referral to the Equality Court.

Taking to the comment section, TikTok users weighed in:

One user said: “I’m waiting for Ngizwe Mchunu.”

Another one added: “You are Zulu Dominic and uyindoda yo Zulu ( you are a Zulu man). If this is I Mvunulo ya MaZulu (a Zulu traditional attire) that means you’ve got every right to wear it. Sexuality doesn’t define you kodwa (but) your culture is your identity. Umhle nyani, sihle isintu senu qwaba (You are handsome, our culture is beautiful).”

X( formerly Twitter) users also weighed in:

Dominic Zaca, my babe. I wasn’t familiar with your game. 😍😍😍
