The multi-award-winning musician Cassper Nyovest has finally provided an update on a disappointing ordeal he had with the e-hailing company, Uber.
Earlier this month, the Move for me hitmaker opened up about becoming a victim of theft. This comes after he used the Uber courier service to send an expensive gift package to a close friend of his.
The rapper later revealed that the driver who was supposed to deliver the package to his friend decided to steal the gift and reported that he had returned it to his home.
This has since left him feeling extremely disappointed.
In a follow-up post, he has now revealed that he intended to open a case against the company; however, several representatives of Uber later contacted him apologising for the incident, claiming that they managed to recover his package.
Unfortunately, this appears to be far from the truth as he reveals that after days of waiting and continuous communication with company representatives, he was still unable to retrieve his belongings.
“Almost two weeks since I’ve posted about my incident with Uber. I’ve received about 10 calls from them saying the same thing. I have messages from some of the employees about returning my parcel and saying that they have it and have found the driver but nothing has happened.”
He believes that the company is being dishonest about the matter and says that he hates that they are lying to him.
“I even sent them my address.”
He later said that he was planning to delete the app from his cell phone and encouraged others to do the same.
“I’m definitely deleting the Uber and Uber Eats apps! I think we all should! This is pure rubbish!
“Why did y’all lie, saying you have my parcel and that you will return it? Then just go quiet. You do not care about your customers! So many people are complaining,” he frustratingly asked.
Meanwhile, dozens of fans continued to enter the comment section, sharing that they have had similar experiences.
