Big Zulu makes fan’s dream come true before brain tumour surgery

One musical fan’s dream of meeting his idol has finally come to reality.

Earlier this week, renowned rapper Big Zulu took some time away from the musical studio to fulfill a mission close his heart by surprising a young fan ahead of a very serious brain tumour surgery.

According to a report by TshisaLive, the young girl had previously highlighted that one of her biggest desires was to see her favourite artist in living flesh.

Through the help of the Reach For A Dream Foundation, this wish soon became a reality for the enthusiastic young man as the Dear My Love hitmaker soon responded to the call.

Taking to his Instagram page, Zulu shared a video clip of the highly emotional moment as he set foot at the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital to surprise the young fan.

Captioning his post, he wrote, “Ash, I went to see this little hero yesterday. She asked that her wish was to see Big Zulu with her own eyes. I didn’t waste any time. She was so happy to see me. Ash, the hero is going through a lot. She will undergo surgery this week for a brain tumour,” he explained.

Meanwhile, in true Big Zulu fashion, the 39-year-old did not come empty-handed. Instead, he brought along several gifts that which included a traditional Zulu headband, belt, trousers and a pair of Carvelas.

He later wished her well on the upcoming operation and urged others to keep her in their prayers.
