In a shocking plot twist which some ironically saw coming, Kaizer Chiefs has reportedly opted to terminate coach Nasreddine Nabi’s contract following a humbling 3-1 to Sekhukhune FC.
A chain reaction of misfortune has hit Naturena, leaving the Kaizer Chiefs community at large having to console themselves for the recent humble pie served freshly to them by a determined Sekhukhune side. For many opposing fan bases, this loss was highly anticipated and celebrated, as the Glamour Boys had managed to go undefeated until then, making their fans more insufferable than usual.
To add insult to injury, SABC has reported that the club has chosen to not continue with Nabi as their head coach, sending shockwaves throughout the country. Despite a tumultuous 2024/25 season which ended with Chiefs failing to secure a position in the PSL top eight, fans remained loyal to their coach, and believed in what he was trying to build with their club.
This decision means that Kaizer Chiefs will be without him for the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup match set to take place against Kabuscorp in Luanda, Angola.
