Dancer and reality TV star Mixon Tholo, better know as Tsekeleke, is now a free man. This is after his niece, Neo Tholo, forgave him and dropped the charges of assault against him.
The 40-year-old recently appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court where he was told that Neo dropped the charges. Speaking to Daily Sun he said, “I am so happy. I was worried about when I was going to be released because my gigs had been paused. The police took good care of me inside, and I was never hungry.”
He also shared that he has learnt from this experience, and will not bother Neo or women at all.
According to the publication, during the proceedings, the court called Neo to confirm her decision to withdraw the case against his uncle. She also told the court that she understood that withdrawing a case meant it wouldn’t return to court, and assured them that she was not forced into her decision.
Tsekeleke also urged promoters to start booking him again, saying he is now a free man and Neo added that they had agreed to bury the hatchet.
“As a family we agreed that we shouldn’t be fighting. We decided to make peace and bury the hatchet. I think he has learned one or two lessons about physically assaulting women,” said Neo.
The Lose It or Lose Me star was arrested last week after he allegedly hit his niece, and a case of assault GBH was opened against him.
