
DJ and music producer Collen Ntala Mmotla, better known as Chymamusique, has been discharged from hospital after he was involved in a tragic accident that claimed the life of DJ Poizen and three others.
The accident that left Mxansi reeling in shock and praying for the recovery of the artists happened on August 30, on the N1 near Ysterberg Mountain, outside Polokwane. According to preliminary reports, two sedans collided head-on before catching fire, leaving four of the deceased burnt beyond recognition.
The award-winning DJ has been displaying good recovery and progress in hospital, and has been discharged to start his recovery journey at home. The He Keeps Me Safe hitmaker took to his Facebook page to share the news. He shared a video clip of him on a wheelchair.
He captioned his post: “Discharged from hospital to try recover from home. Thanks for prayers, support and love. Ke leboga bophelo (I’m grateful for this life),” he wrote.
He also took to his Instagram page, expressing his heartfelt tribute to his friend, DJ Poizen, who was laid to rest recently. Captioning his post he said: “Somedays we need the lyrics, sometimes the beats, sometimes the vocals. Goodnight brother.”
