DJ and music producer Collen Ntala Mmotla, better known as Chymamusique, recently opened up after surviving a horror accident that claimed five lives, including DJ Poizen.

Chymamusique who has been admitted in hospital since August 30, took to his Instagram story to proclaim the power of God. Following his exit from ICU, he shared a picture of the accident scene with a candid message where he shared his gratitude to God for a second chance at life. In his caption he said: “God, you know why. You’re the author and finisher of our lives. Sorry, and please help us all. We are your children, and we have seen your powerful hand. May we find healing and strength for each day of our lives.”

In another post, he shared a picture of him on his hospital bed and said: “If you ever doubt God, hit me up in October. What I’m witnessing is 200% a miracle.”

It was announced on his page earlier this week that Chymamusique was out of ICU after four successful surgeries.

The accident occurred on August 30, on the N1 near Ysterberg Mountain, outside Polokwane.

According to Departmental spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene, two sedans collided head-on before catching fire. Tidimalo added that four of the deceased were burnt beyond recognition.

“Preliminary reports suggest one of the vehicles may have attempted to overtake when the crash occurred. Although the investigation is ongoing, reckless driving has not been ruled out as a contributing factor.”
