Springbok star Eben and his wife, actress and singer Anlia, are counting the days as the excitement rises to welcome a new addition into their family.
The soon-to-be mother of two recently hosted a beautiful Spring-themed baby shower at her childhood home in Johannesburg. According to a post shared on Instagram, the event was planned by her mother and sister, who currently live in the City of Gold.
In the post, which contains a gallery of pictures and videos, the former Getroud Met Rugby actress expressed her sincere appreciation towards her family for the thoughtful gesture.
“So blessed!” she captioned.
“Thank you to my mother and sister who organised the special day in Johannesburg! I feel so blessed with all the girlfriends that were there…You guys are worth gold!”

Because of his commitments with the national rugby team, the Springboks, dad, Eben, unfortunately, couldn’t be present, but the two shared the moment via a video call on the day.
Eben and Anlia first announced the news of their pregnancy just days after celebrating her first Mother’s Day.

The couple welcomed their first child in January 2024 after first unveiling their pregnancy after the final of the 2023 Rugby World Cup hosted in the city of love, Paris.
