Court Withdraws Arrest Warrant for Wandi Ndlovu after Courtroom Mix Up

Tension filled Palm Ridge Magistrates’ Court this week when reality star Wandi Ndlovu and her sister Ntombifuthi briefly faced the threat of arrest. A warrant had been issued after the sisters were thought to have skipped their court appearance. It was later cancelled once the magistrate realised they had been seated in the wrong courtroom.

How the Confusion Unfolded

The incident took place on 9 September 2025 during a scheduled hearing in the murder trial linked to the death of their uncle, Linda Ndlovu. When the matter was first called, the court believed the sisters had not arrived and issued a warrant for their arrest. Later that day it emerged that Wandi and Ntombifuthi had mistakenly gone to a different courtroom. Once the error was resolved, the warrant was withdrawn.

The Charges They Face

Wandi, Ntombifuthi, and their mother, Thembi Ndlovu, are facing murder charges after the death of their uncle in Katlehong in July 2025. The three were arrested earlier this year and later released on bail. The case has attracted widespread attention because of Wandi’s profile as a reality television personality and the tragic family circumstances at its centre.

What Comes Next

The court has postponed the case to 26 November 2025, when the postmortem report is expected to provide clarity about the cause of death. Until then, the sisters and their mother remain out on bail, with the public eye closely watching what happens next.

Public and Community Reaction

The case has become a talking point both online and in Katlehong. Some people see it as a stark reminder of how fragile family relationships can be when tensions spiral out of control. Others have voiced concern that Wandi’s celebrity status could overshadow the seriousness of the charges. For many, however, the focus remains on the loss of life and the impact felt by both the family and the community.
