Grief comes in waves. Sometimes, missing a loved one who passed away hits a little harder on certain days.

This is the case with actress Yolanda Myeza, as she recently opened up about how she misses her late mother; media personality Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule.

Zanele, who passed away on August 12, 2024 after battling lung cancer, was known for changing lives on her gospel show on Ukhozi FM.

The Sibongile and The Dlaminis former actress took to her Instagram page to honour her late mom by sharing a post of her childhood pictures with her mother.

“A year later, and nothing makes sense without you here. You are in every thought I have, every decision I make. You’ll forever be a part of my tapestry,” she penned.

Yolanda, who recently joined SABC1’s Amalanga Awafani, also shared a picture of herself presenting an award at the 17th Crown Gospel Music Awards. She captioned her post: “The legacy continues.”

While another internet user said: “Keep on shining.”

He said: “It was on this day, August 12th 2024, when my beautiful wife Zanele Mbokazi transitioned to glory. The memory of the righteous is blessed. Her impact is still felt. Her voice is not silenced even in her absence. The children and I are still living in the goodness of God. I know we will meet in that glorious resurrection morning where all the saints of God will gather.
Keep resting my love. Till then.”
