RHOD’s Precious Udoye addresses assault claims

by Silindokuhle Booi

Precious Udoye, popularly known as Precious the Boss Lady, has found herself at the centre of controversy after allegations of assault surfaced on social media.

The reality TV star and hair entrepreneur, known for her appearance on The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD), denied the allegations and claimed the alleged victim, Ayanda, was fabricating lies.

According to Precious, the incident occurred when she tried to stop Ayanda from filming her, and a scuffle ensued. Precious alleged that Ayanda edited the video to make it seem like she was the aggressor.

In a statement to Maphephandaba, Precious said, “I’m speechless at how this lady fabricated all these lies, to the extent of going as far as painting herself and editing a sound video when I was trying to grab her phones to stop filming me to make it look like we hit her.”

She promised to release footage of the incident to clear her name, stating, “All these are LIES, but at this point, no one will believe my story until the footage is out.”

However, some netizens have questioned the delay in releasing the footage, with others speculating that it is being edited to fit a certain narrative.

The controversy has sparked a heated debate on social media, with some calling for a boycott of her business, Precious Brand Hair Couture. Others have advised Ayanda to open a case with SAPS.

The reality TV star’s business empire, which includes retail, cosmetics, and beauty bars, has reportedly earned her an estimated net worth of R28 million.

As the drama unfolds with her reputation on the line, Precious’ fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting the release of the footage, which they hope will shed more light on the situation.
