Media personality Minnie Dlamini recently provided solace to businesswoman Rachel Kolisi,  following her recent video on social media where she opened up about navigating life and parenthood amid divorce.

Rachel and her ex husband, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi announced their divorce last year. Since then, Rachel has been sharing updates about how she is adapting to her new normal.

Recently, she shared a video clip of her preparing the kids ahead of them spending holidays with Siya. This video touched the hearts of many, including Minnie Dlamini who has also experienced divorce. Offering comfort and understanding, she commented  “I’m sorry mama.”

Taking to her TikTok page , Rachel shared that she is in the process of getting divorced, and that it was hard to see her kids going to see their dad for the first time without her.

She shared that they were going for a few days, so packing was light. She also braided her daughters hair, ensuring that it doesn’t need to be brushed while she is away.

“This part (the night before) and when they leave, is usually the hardest,” she penned. She also shared that she asked her grandmother if she would like to go away with her while the kids are gone because she didn’t want to be alone.

TikTok users weighed in.

“We stopped watching Rugby for you Sis,” said one user.

Another one said: “Supporting Rachel doesn’t mean sending hate to Siya. We can show support without being mean.”

“I’m not hating or anything, I’m just trying to understand. So you set up the camera or phone and then cry and have an anxiety attack or how does that work.” commented another.
