by Silindokuhle Booi

The absence of Connie Ferguson from Presley Chweneyagae’s funeral sparked a heated debate on social media, with some users expressing disappointment and others defending the media mogul.

However, fans and supporters promptly came to Connie’s defence, pointing out that she was likely busy with prior commitments. Some users noted that Connie has been open about her struggles with grief in the past, suggesting that funerals might be a trigger for her.

What has she done? She attended memorial service nje? Out of all the Actors and Actresses why her?

Others defended Connie by highlighting her busy schedule, pointing out that she had a prior commitment to the launch of Kings of Jo’Burg 3, which had likely been planned months in advance. The backlash against Connie was swift, with many users jumping to her defence and condemning the hate and negativity directed towards her.

Users spoke out in support of Connie, demanding that people leave her alone, calling her “our beautiful Ausi Connie.”

The incident highlights the importance of not making assumptions about people’s actions without having all the facts.
