Sdumo Mtshali, a former star of The Estate, is mourning the loss of award-winning actor Presley Chweneyagae, who passed away recently.

Sdumo, who worked alongside Presley on the Netflix series iNumber iNumber, took to social media to bid farewell to his colleague. In a heartfelt message on TikTok, Sdumo shared a video of Presley and expressed his admiration for the late actor’s work. He recalled watching Presley on stage and screen and praised him for his talent and dedication to his craft. His tribute was filled with love and respect, showcasing the bond they shared as colleagues.

@sdumo.mtshaliJohn 11:23: Jesus says, “Your brother will rise again.” Presley, I have admired your acting skills years before working together. Watching you on stage and the big screen, then God gave me a chance to witness it first hand. Thank you my friend for honouring it. I will miss you! I love you my brother.♬ Life Goes On – 2Pac

He spoke highly of Presley’s professionalism and talent, saying they wanted to tell a good story about good cops when they worked together.

Sdumo also attended Presley’s second memorial service in Pretoria, where he delivered a moving tribute to his friend and colleague. At the memorial service, he spoke about the bond he shared with Presley, saying they clicked immediately when they met on the set of iNumber iNumber.

He also offered words of wisdom to Presley’s son, advising him not to be bitter or angry, but to feel his emotions and lean on his family for support.

“Don’t be bitter, don’t be angry, but feel those emotions. You have to carry the family, help your mother. You have your uncles to help you; they are here for you,” he said, offering guidance and comfort to Presley’s loved ones.

South Africans reacted to Sdumo’s tribute, with many praising the actor for his kind words and heartfelt tribute.

Some users noted that Sdumo is talented and deserves recognition, while others expressed their sadness and shock over Presley’s passing.

One user compared Presley’s death to that of Shona Ferguson, another actor who passed away suddenly while working on a project.

The outpouring of love and respect for Presley is a testament to his impact on the entertainment industry and the lives of those who knew him. His legacy will live on through his work, and his memory will be cherished by fans and colleagues alike.
