Actress Meagan Good has recently become one of several American stars to make their way to South African shores.

Known for her roles in Think Like a Man, Stomp the Yard, and The Intruder, the 43-year-old has built herself quite a reputation of being amongst Hollywood’s biggest leading ladies.

This week, she visited both Botswana and Johannesburg in partnership with Dreamers Alive to host the Dreamers Exchange Festival 2025.

“Touchdown South Africa – The cousins have arrived!”

Videos showed her accompanied by her sister, La’Myia Good, and cousin, Dijon Talton, receiving a hero’s welcome after arriving at O.R. Tambo International Airport, where they were each presented with a bouquet of flowers as well as a meet-and-greet with some of their biggest fans.

In recent months, there have been plenty of American stars who have either made their way to South Africa for work or to enjoy a well-deserved holiday.

Here is a list of some you might not have missed.

Chloe Bailey

In April, actress Chloe Bailey took to Instagram to reveal that she had spent two months in South Africa to film a new movie. During her time on the continent, she ensured that she experienced all there was to see, from visiting the iconic Table Mountain, meeting the penguins at Boulders Beach, and seeing the Big Five on a safari. Later, she showcased a bit of Africa after revealing her latest Bantu knot hairstyle.
