The Museum of Illusions in Cape Town is now open, offering an exciting new adventure spot for families and thrill-seekers.

Located on Kloof Street in Gardens, the museum promises an immersive experience with 60 mind-bending illusions and exhibits.

Ticket Information:

– Prices: Tickets start at R200 and can be purchased online or at the door.

-Pre-bookings: Recommended to avoid disappointment, especially during peak hours.

-Discounts: Some users are holding out for discounted prices on platforms like Wikideals.

The museum features interactive installations that challenge perception and spark imagination. Exhibits are designed for all ages, making it a great spot for family outings or dates. Visitors can explore at their own pace or opt for a guided tour.

Some locals have expressed concerns about the affordability of the museum, citing economic struggles. Others have shared their excitement and anticipation on social media, with comments like:

One said: “Locals can’t afford it. It’s for the wealthy and tourists.”

One wrote, “I’ll wait for discounted ticket prices on Wikideals.”

It’s awesome, just a pity not all families will be able to afford this,” said one.

The museum is wheelchair-friendly, with some exhibits accessible and others not due to structural limitations. Strollers are allowed, and children under 3 years old can enter for free.

Food and drinks are not permitted inside the museum. Nearby parking options include Ally Centre’s 1,400-space parking garage or public parking in front of the museum.
