Cwecwe’s mom to face jail time, justice system failed her

by Silindokuhle Booi

The case of the 7-year-old girl Cwecwe took a drastic sharp curve with her mother expected to face jail time.

The case that was dropped last year November resurfaced again at the beginning of the year and had the whole country on its fit fighting for the little girl’s justice.

It is alleged that Cwecwe had been sexually violated at school one afternoon when her transport was late. With the police taking samples of the people who were available at school at the time, the school’s principal refused to give his sample which was suspicious to the family.

Recently, the case was then called out again saying that there is no evidence linking the school’s principal to the assault. The AfriForum is now taking legal action against individuals that had made false accusations about the school’s principal.

Whilst these new surfaced, South Africans continued to stand saying that no one said he did it but him refusing to give his sample for testing made it more suspicious.

Cwecwe’s mother is also to face jail time because claims are she allegedly paid people to start the circulations about the principal. However, she still stands unshaken about this whole ordeal, she is getting stronger by day and she has made it clear that she will not be backing down until justice is served “I will fight until I sweat blood or die for my child to get justice.”

“The justice system of South Africa is really a joke,” said one user.

Another one said: “Them finding Omotoso not guilty after 8 years of imprisonment should have been a sign.”
