She has done it! Actress and entrepreneur, Ayanda Thabethe, has officially ended her academic journey and done it excellently.
In a recent post shared on social media, the media personality announced that she has completed her MBA degree at Henley Business School with distinction.
Reflecting on the journey, she wrote: “In June 2021, I shared with you all that I was starting an MBA journey — and today, nearly four years later, I’m so proud to say: I did it!”
“A typical Henley Executive MBA takes around two and a half years — mine took four, so that in between I could welcome two beautiful children into the world, and with every pause, every return, came its own mountain to climb. But with determination and the best support system, both personally and from Henley Africa, I never lost sight of why I started.”
Ayanda adds that while her view has always been to announce good news only after it has been done, she has now felt motivated to publicly share this time to remind others that they, too can do difficult things.
“To anyone standing at the beginning of something daunting — this is your sign. Start. And finish. Even if life interrupts you along the way.”
