Sol Phenduka responds to Dr Brian after being called a coward

by Silindokuhle Booi

A recent episode of Podcast and Chill sparked controversy when Mcgyver Mukwevho better known as MacG, made a shocking and insensitive comment about Minnie Dlamini’s body during a discussion about her breakup with Dr Brian Monaisa.

The conversation centred around why Minnie seemingly struggles to maintain relationships, with MacG’s remarks crossing boundaries and sparking widespread outrage.

Dr Brian took to his Instagram stories to express his disappointment and frustration with MacG and Sol Phenduka’s comments about his ex-partner, Minnie. Dr Brian accused the podcasters of having a problem with successful women, suggesting that their remarks were not only unprofessional but also misogynistic.

He emphasised his support for women’s integrity and dignity, calling MacG and Sol “cowards” and using other strong language to condemn their behaviour.

The controversy began when MacG made a distasteful joke about Minnie’s body, which many found to be in poor taste. The comment was met with widespread criticism, with some calling for Minnie to take legal action against MacG and Sol.

Instead of addressing the issue directly, Sol responded with a meme featuring American rapper 50 Cent, which failed to resonate with the audience.

The public’s reaction to the incident was swift and decisive, with many expressing their disappointment and outrage at MacG and Sol’s comments. Some criticised Sol for not calling out MacG’s behaviour and instead laughing along with the distasteful joke.

The consensus among many viewers was that Sol’s response was inadequate and that he deserved to face backlash for not taking a stronger stance against MacG’s comments.
