The time has come when designers from every nook and cranny of the country convene to showcase their interpretations of this year’s ‘quiet luxury’ theme at the Summer/Spring SA Fashion Week. To kick things off, Cruz hosted a raunchy launch party, and the public has opinions about some of the looks our celebrities pulled off.

The Cruz Fashion Week Launch Party is a high-profile event that is traditionally known to set the tone for the upcoming coveted South African Fashion Week (SAFW). As expected, the event attracted a star-studded guest list, which included the likes of Natasha Joubert, Khosi Twala, Khaya Dladla and many more, who stepped out ready to welcome Fashion Week with a bang. The event served as an opportunity for designers, celebrities, media personnel, models and any kind of talent to network and get a first-hand glimpse into the intense world of fashion week.

Of course, similarly to every major event, the public took everything in, had notes and feedback for the attendees, and did not hold back when it came to expressing their opinions. According to some users, South African celebrities just have not locked down the art of respecting and interpreting a theme accordingly. These users believe that our celebrities failed to deliver memorable and fashion-forward looks once again
