Three boys from Limpopo namely Max Ndou, Gauta Mahlakoane and Karabo Mokoo, collectively known as Gauta BMX received a warm welcome when they arrived at OR Tambo, after cycling over 1 700 km from Burgersfort to Cape Town.

After much needed fun and sponsorships received while in Cape Town, the trio excitedly enjoyed their first flight and made their way to the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where they were met with a loving crowd that welcomed them like brave heroes that they are.

The cheers, songs and screams started as they entered the airport, with everyone wanting to hug and take pictures with them. Like always the trio was accompanied by DJ Karrie, a popular DJ from Limpopo who helped them receive most of their sponsorships and exposure, as he kept his followers on the loop about the boys trip in Cape Town.

While in the Mother City, the trio received a sponsorship from KFC, where they were provided with R1o ooo cash, bottomless buckets for the rest of 2025 and a fresh kit for each of them.
