Media personality, Dineo Ranaka known for being bold and opinionated and for her fresh and authentic voice, promises to shake up the talk show landscape, as she launches her highly anticipated talk show named The DRC– short for The Dineo Ranaka Show.

Fondly known as Ousi o motona (big sister), Dineo took to her Instagram page to share that her talk show will focus on real-life issues and relatable topics with her signature unfiltered perspective. The show will also feature a diverse array of guests, shining a spotlight on unsung heroes, tapping into the knowledge of experts across various fields, and occasionally welcoming familiar celebrity faces.

“The DRC will also showcase Dineo’s infectious lightheartedness and playful humour, guaranteeing viewers an entertaining and refreshing experience. Determined to carve a unique space in the digital landscape,” read the statement.

Dineo is renowned for her stance as a reality TV star on Dineo’s Diary and The Ranakas, and for showcasing her powerful voice on Kaya and Metro FM.

With DRC, she made it clear that this is not a podcast and that her vision is set on building a traditional talk show with a classic format on embarking on a humble introduction with aspirations for monumental growth as she quotes the bible, Zachariah 4:10.

Dineo aims to cultivate a show that feels both comfortably familiar and strikingly contemporary. “I feel this show will grow into something that feels nostalgic yet current and contemporary all at the same time,” she said.
