Celebville wedding season underway: 3 celebrities share engagement news

It’s wedding bells everywhere in celebville, and we are here for it. Recently three of the celebrated and loved personalities took to their social media platforms to excitedly announce their wedding engagements.

Gospel star and Idols season 14 winner, Yanga Sobetwa also took to social media platforms to share that she is engaged to Ntsako Khoza. The songstress is renowned for soul soothing tunes such as Jeso O Ntekane, Alpha and Omega and her first single from
Idols SA Scars (All Over Me). Recently Yanga shared a snippet of her lobola negotiations on her TikTok page.

Japanese-South African actress and TV host Lalla Hiriyama recently announced her engagement to her long-time partner, Ross McIlroy. Lalla took to Instagram to announce her engagement in a series of pictures. Captioning her post: “Two strong hearts.” She showcased a glimpse of her engagement ring and shared a picture of the diamond ring on her Instagram stories, explaining the meaning behind the glamorous oval-shaped ring.

“My ring was designed to mimic waves that encapsulate a beautiful stone. What a design. A one-of-a-kind. Just like my man-whose heart belongs to me and to the sea,” she shared.

 

Actor and model, Joe Kazadi, famous for characters he played on Uzalo, Scandal!, Generations and The Queen, recently announced jointly with his partner on their Instagram pages in a now deleted post, showcasing the diamond ring and intimate pictures of them kissing and being cosy. While they captioned their post: “A fiancé.”

Joe seldom reveals the details of his private life apart from being a father to his daughter, Omotola, and sharing their father-daughter moments, leaving mzansi gushing over their bond.
