Kwa-Zulu Natal, aka ‘uZulu’, appears to be more united than ever, as Big Brother Mzansi winner Sweet Guluva made a cameo at Sjava’s highly popular ‘The 2018 Tour’, giving attendees a wonderful and unexpected surprise.

Sjava’s highly anticipated ‘The 2018 Tour’ was officially marked open on 30 March, when the ‘Uyena’ hit-maker poured his heart out to a fully packed Grand West Arena, filled with fans who could barely hold their excitement in. As an artist who prides himself in collaboration and working with fellow industry men and women, he has brought a few artists whom he has featured in some songs, including the likes of Buhlebendalo, Sam_Nue, Howard and Bravo B, who helped bring the performances to life.

From the onset, it was clear that the city of Durban was ready to welcome Sjava on his tour with open arms, as it was the only city that managed to sell out three separate dates, from the 11th-13th April, while cities such as Bloemfontein and Emalahleni have struggled to fill up just one date.

Although Sjava has emerged as one of the country’s more popular artists, it comes as no surprise that Durban would show out for him in this way for many reasons, including the fact that he wears the fact that he is from KZN on his sleeve, as well as the fact that his takes great inspiration from the Zulu culture, and therefore resonates deeply with the people of KZN.

The ‘Kuye’ singer appears to have a few tricks and surprises up his sleeve for his attendees and loyal fans, as he did not only bring out fan-favourite comedian Skhumba to help him sing along to his latest banger ‘Uyena’, which had the audience going feral, but he also brought out KZN’s current golden boy and Big Brother Mzansi winner Akhonamathemba Mbele, who is affectionately known as Sweet Guluva out onto the stage to bust a few moves for the audience.

As expected, this proud display of the Zulu culture had the audience on their feet, screaming and jumping for joy as they watched their favourite personalities from alternate universes get together. According to his loyal fans, this was also a significant moment for the Big Brother winner, as he has revealed that Sjava is his favourite artist, making the moment even sweeter and meaningful for everyone involved.
