South African rapper Genesis Gabriella Tina Manney, popularly known as Gigi Lamayne, chose to embark on a new path in her life with God, as she accepted the Lord as her saviour during her baptism.
The Ice Cream hitmaker took to her social media platforms to share this monumental milestone in her life. She joins the likes of Lunga Shabalala, Kefilwe Mabote and Candice Modiselle.
She took to her Instagram page to express her appreciation to everyone who helped her in her journey until she saw the light.
“To God be the glory. He is faithful. He is a God of second chances. He never gives up until we give in. Thank you to my spiritual leaders, amazing family, friends, partner, and strangers who helped me to this point,” she penned.
She also shared that she is grateful to be part of the Kingdom, where she serves and is purposeful.
In the clip captured by her boyfriend, Reason, Gigi and another lady are baptised in what seems like a swimming pool and are all donned in black t-shirts.
