It has been approximately two weeks since the highly popular Big Brother Mzansi (BBM) reality competition show wrapped up, and all eyes are on the housemates as viewers watch closely for their favourites’ next moves. As expected, mzansi’s attention has been on this season’s winner Sweet Guluva and his love interest and fellow fan-favourite Ash-ley Ogle.

The popular couple had begun to illicit break-up rumours after social media detectives observed that they were no longer following each other on Instagram, an had also drawn their own conclusions about Sweet Guluva’s mother’s feelings towards Ash-ley. However, during a TikTok live session, KZN’s golden boy reassured he and Ash-ley’s fans that they are still together, and went on to request some privacy from the public.

CweCwe’s dad’s baby mama drama

The tragic case of the rape of seven-year old student CweCwe has quickly gained traction in South Africa, after it was revealed that the young leaner was assaulted on her Bergview College school premises. As the country has called for justice for the young learner to be served, the ordeal has opened her family up to public scrutiny and close monitoring from the public.

Amid the chaos of fighting for CweCwe’s case, a woman who has been identified as the former partner and baby mama of CweCwe’s father recently took to her social media to rubbish him for the unsatisfactory role he has been playing in their child’s life since his marriage with CweCwe’s mother.

After receiving much backlash for the poor timing of her stunt, the woman returned with a public apology to the parents after CweCwe’s mother provided receipts of the payments they have made for the child’s maintenance, and revealing that the woman has not been welcoming to the idea of CweCwe’s father spending time with their child.

Bontle and Priddy Ugly’s pregnancy announcement 

Celebrity couple Bontle Modiselle and Priddy Ugly have been the topic of conversation this past weekend after their attempt at a creative and entertaining pregnancy reveal rubbed the public the wrong way, leaving users booing the couple.

The video, which was shared on the via the couple’s social media pages, was characterised by the couple ‘working’ on fixing a car, and in the end, ended with Bontle revealing her adorable baby bump. However, the ‘dip-stick’ conversation between the couple is what got the people talking, as it contained sexual imagery and innuendos, all in the presence of their toddler, which the public did not deem as responsible or savoury from the parents.

The announcement has been labelled a flop by social media users, as they cite the inappropriate nature of the video.
