What’s in your makeup bag? Here’s what should be

You might have probably been there, searching through tons of lipsticks, mascaras, and half-empty products in your makeup bags, unable to find the specific item that you’re looking for.

That lipstick you bought on a whim, the concealer that never quite matches your skin tone, and the mascara that’s probably past its prime—yep, you might have these little beauty missteps tucked away in there as well.

The secret is to simplify your makeup collection and concentrate on the pieces that will enable you to effortlessly transition from a hectic morning to a night out.

Consider it similar to building a capsule wardrobe for your face: everything should be adaptable, dependable, and, above all, appropriate for your particular demands and style.

According to Luvo Store, “Maintaining a makeup bag is crucial for a fresh face, as it contains essential beauty gear for various occasions. It’s essential to have everything you need for a fresh look, whether you’re at home or traveling. Having a well-stocked makeup bag ensures you look your best, regardless of the location.”

The above beauty store also states that you should have a double-ended eyeliner that provides two-in-one coverage in a creamy white and defining brown colour. Liquid liners are a stylish alternative to eye pencils for formal occasions. Select a simple mascara that is black or brown that has the ability to thicken, lengthen, and volumise in a single application. Do not let it leave your side.

Good Housekeeping claims that for a radiant complexion, a fresh, radiant look, natural-looking complexion, a burst of pink blusher, groomed brows, and lips that stand out, you need a sheer foundation that matches your skin type, a good concealer, a blush for rosy cheeks, an easy brow gel, and a statement lipstick. You will never go wrong with red lipstick. Alternatively, make sure to have lip gloss at least.

Also, always ensure that you have a fresh, clean set of makeup tools!

Lastly, remember to keep it simple; there’s no need to struggle with unnecessary products in your makeup bag, as you certainly don’t want to be late for that important function.
